POEM – A Special Log Cabin

A Special Log Cabin

I am rather excited tonight.

We are going to dinner in a log cabin so bright.

I don’t know it by name but it sits in my hall of fame.

I ate there once before.

The way it is built is what I adore.

The logs are the prettiest I have ever seen.

To own a building like it is my biggest dream.

The tables are dressed with tablecloths and fresh picked bouquets.

To welcome the guests! What a wonderful way!

Our young waitress Diana was so precious and sweet.

No better waitress could you meet.
