Great Room
Once in the great room you cannot miss the 23-foot granite fireplace that completes the ambience of a true log home. Look up to see an authentic elk chandelier. Marvel at the structural timbers are the logs themselves – just as they would have built them in the past.
Proceed into the “Deer Horn Bar” and you will see the chandelier that gave this bar its name. Both chandeliers where handcrafted by an artisan from Montana. You will also notice antique artifacts of yester year studding the two-story wall.
Our bar top itself has local history. A 900-year-old oak tree (the 9th oldest in the US), living in Pleasant Valley California fell after a severe rain storm in 1982. Mike McGee, a local Christmas tree farmer saved several slabs of this tree “waiting for the right home”. As you look through the bar doors – you enter our fireside covered porch. Here you will find an authentic granite wood burning fireplace – perfect for those chilly nights.
